When i say free i mean absolutely free! no memberships or credit card fees?
Every American by law is entitled to one free credit report each year from all three major reporting agencies. There is no catch or obligation. It is provided thru the FTC.

yea music lady ive seen the commercials…ive also seen their web site and they only give ya the report if you sign up for a monthly gig with em, baby.

I am looking to get my report and scores, but isnt there a place where you can sign up for a free liting and NOT have to pay for anything else or sign up for any programs?
You can easily obtain a free credit report from each of the three credit reporting agencies by visiting www.annualcreditreport.com. Each agency is required to provide a free credit report once per year.
Getting a free creidt rating or FICO score is much more difficult. The free annual credit report does not include your score. In fact,in my experience, anything that advertises a free credit score is not true.
I am able to get a monthly credit score from one of the banks that I have a credit card with. You might be able to do the same. Also, if you apply for a loan, your loan officer could let you know your credit score. These are the only ways I have ever gotten a free credit score.

Go to freecreditreport.com and sign up for their trial period. Just be sure and cancel before the trial period is up or your credit card will be charged. It goes along with you ssn.
